I heard from tons of friends today wishing me a happy birthday. And I was treated to breakfast in bed with the presentation of presents and cards. It was wonderful. I got some dandelion fabric from the boys and a sock knitting book from Dave. They apparently support my habits.
We also met a new friend's new baby today when we brought them lunch... he's crazy cute! And we watched Team Canada pull off an excellent hockey game (which translates to three solid hours as a couch potato... woot!). Then we enjoyed some of the warm weather and had some popcorn festivities for dinner. It was a really fun day. Dave worked hard to make it special... thank you!
Another friend also had her baby today. Baby Maddie came a wee bit early and is weighing in at 3 lbs, 3 oz. Pray for her to grow big and strong quickly!
